You are what you eat!
We are just beginning to realize the importance of nutrition when it comes to your health.
Proper nutrition can keep you healthy, add years to your life and if you are an athlete, enhance your performance. We all know the importance of exercise in maintaining health, but equally important is controlling and understanding more about what eats you (i.e. stress and anxiety management) and what you eat (i.e. what you put in your mouth– liquids, solids, vitamins, supplements, etc.). Don’t let faulty sub-optimal nutrition be the missing piece in your health puzzle.
I have found that tracking your daily food/calories (and exercise) intake really helps move you to better nutrition & health. I use My Fitness Pal phone app which makes things easy, and is highly motivating!
The more you know about nutrition, the healthier you will be.
